Redeem

do we really know what that word means?? let me start from the beginning, my mom and i were on vacation one day and we were in the car talking about heaven. I told her that the most wonderful part about heaven that i believe is that everyone will be worshipping God, not just a certain race but all races. there will be different types of worship music, not just gospel but ALL music. All races and people will praise him in different languages and dialects. But something made me think really hard when my mom told me about the story of Jesse Duplantis going to heaven and back. he witnessed that God sits on his thrown breathing out life, these spirits of infants dance and fly around his head saying "May we be redeemed Spirits." Now i kind of understood this but then i realized that this wasn't a question they were asking God. it was a proclamation that they are already (of course) our spirits know who God is, it is we ourselves that choose whether to believe in him. I wanted to study the word Redeemed, and it means ransom to pay a debt off through sacrafice. Those souls are us, we have all said this dancing around God's head. i read more in the dictionary and i came across redeemer. Isn't it funny how NONE of the other Gods out there have done such a thing for us except for Jesus. And that is what it said in the dictionary, Jesus Christ under the word redeemer. I'm going to give you a history lesson now, the dictionary i was reading out of was the Webster's, Noah Webster was a devout Christian man he studied the Bible so thoroughly that he could literally quote the Bible, Chapter and Verse whenever he wanted. that is so wonderful that even history itself is a witness to God's Redeeming Love.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQGOjmQzfiI&feature=channel_video_title

Missionaries

OH! finally my finger picked my favorite topic and toy can obviously see by the scriptures: Judges18:6
Duet10"19
Psalm 9:11
Matthew 24:14
2cor 6:3-13
ephesians 3:8-9, 6:19-20
I'm going gung-ho on this one. I have a love for my brothers and sistersout there risking thier lives for God himself. I want to let them know that I love them and that i think they are FANTASTIC! Anyway I will stop lolly gagging and get to it!

Judges 18:
The priest said"Go in peace, your journey has the LORD's approval"

Now God thoughout the Bible says to go out into the world and preach the gospel. I have been on Missions trips before and i kins know what it is like to be a missionary. but i always believed that you had to be called to be one and have a burden for those who go to bed hungry and naked. if you never had a burden, its like you can never think of anything else but what is hindering you. you have to desprately want to touch their lives with the utmost ardent love that you posess.

Dueteronomy 10:19
And you are to love those who are foriegners, for you were foriegners in Egypt.

We are to love everyone especially if we are called to be Missionaries, you will encounter many cultures and people, there is no use for prejudice or racism in christianity. Everyione deserves to hear thr word of God and to tell you the truth there are remote places that you have never even heard about that has never even heard the name Jesus. I could tell you many stories of missionaries and how thier lives have changed since thier choice to follow Christ, but i will only tell you two of them. One is a missionary from Cambodia...he would climb mountains and hills to get to villages just to preach the gospel to people. One day he approached a woman and asked if she knew Jesus and she responded, "No, maybe there is a Jesus in the next village." The little missionary was shocked. The town he had walked into never heard the name Jesus. The next Missionary is an indian man name Vasant, He was studying to be a Hindu priest and he used to persecute indian christians with a group of radical hindu friends. He eventually stole a Bible and some tracts they were carrying and he read them not thinking anything of it. Vasant was reading in one of his Hindu writings this strange phrase, "Om shree kannika sutaya namaha." which translated into "The holy son of the virgin" he knew he read this somewhere in the Bible and he asked his teacher why it was in the hindu scrolls. The priest said to disregard it, it meant nothing but it meant something to Vasant. He eventually converted and his family disowned him. He took refuge in a missionary's house and stayed there for a while. His mother(whom he was very close to) came to visit him and they went to have dinner and she gave him his favorite candy but after he ate it, he began to feel giddy and he fell to the ground. His own mother poisoned him! He eventually became a Missionary and VOM donated a motor bike for him to preach the gospel. my point, these people endured harsh places and harsh people, they travel great distances to share God's word. These people cannot be stopped unless someone killed them and even then they would become a Martyr for Christ.

Websters dictionary, Missionary: A person sent by a church to carry on religious or humanitarian work (2) A person who attempts to persuade or convert others.

No offense to the dictionary but Missionaries do much much more than that!

Psalm 9:11
Sing praises of the LORD enthroned in ZION proclaim amoung th nations what he has done

This is a song that i believe david wrote, this is what everyone not just missionaries should do in hard times. yes they should have a burden for the lost but you should also praise god in the midst of hardship.

Psalm 22:27
All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD and all families of nations will bow down before him.

Psalm 126:
Those who saw with tears will reap songs of joy. Those who go out weeping carrying a seed to sow will return with songs of jot carrying sheafs with them

those who go out into the world with a burden for the lost will come back with a smile on their face and stories of people being saved

Sheaf:A pulley or a cart used in harvest time for wheat, but these sheves are bringing back soulsfor the harvest!! AMAZING SCRIPTURE BRAVO!!!

ACTS 1:6-8

Missionaries are not preachers, although preachers are amazing too! Missionaries are witnesses to God's power and peace and want to share it with the world whether they're comfortable with it or not! Missionaries will spread the news despite the consequences... Maybe Paul can describe it better than I can.

1 corinthians 9:19-23

Though I am free an belong to no one
Ihave made myself a slave to everyone to win as many as possible
To the Jews, I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.
To those under the law, I became under the law, so as to win those under the law.
To those not having the law, Ibecame one not having the law( though under the law of God) So as to win those not having the law.
To the weak, I became weak, so as to win those who are weak.
I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means i might have some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel so that I may share in its blessings.

A beautiful testiment of the Apostle Paul's devotion to the lost world.
2 cor 6:3-13
Ephesians 3:8-9, 6:19-20
